| Message from President APPNA Alliance 2009 |
| Dear ALLIANCE Members,
|
 It is a great honor to be able to serve as President for APPNA Alliance 2009. APPNA Alliance is a recognized organization of the spouses of APPNA members. It aims to support the functions of APPNA, and to promote association amongst its members.
Since joining Alliance in 2005 as Treasurer, I have had the great honor of working with 4 different Presidents: Bushra Sheikh, Sajida Arain, Hamida Tariq, and Mehreen Atiq. I am grateful for their support and guidance. The work they have done in previous years is truly commendable. They brought us to where we are today: an established organization that participates in many charitable activities benefitting the people of Pakistan and North America.

| Within the last year, Alliance has begun to establish local chapters. My focus this year will be to create more chapters and use them as a platform to reach out to local communities. We will continue to strive to increase our membership and for that I will need your help. You can help support the Alliance by getting involved and encouraging others to do the same. If you have any talents that may have the potential to help the Alliance, or would like to serve on a committee, we would be happy to have you on our team. Another great way to get involved is by posting your suggestions or comments on our list serve. The address for the list serve is:
