 APPNA Alliance is a prestigious social organization with several charitable purposes to support and serve. Every year, on the APPNA annual summer meeting, Alliance hosts Thursday night family dinner banquet. It is indeed quite impressive to see the local talent amongst physicians and their families. I am truly humbled and excited to be a part of this organization and it is with immense pride that I look forward to serving as the President of Alliance this year.
I have been involved with Alliance for several years and have worked with quite a few Presidents and learnt a lot on the way. For this year, I think the goals should be set forth to determine what needs to be done and how to attain them. My focus this year will be to include the following but not limited to: increasing the membership, fundraising, to involve experienced members of Alliance to help us better and stabilize the organization. I would also like members to submit their articles and ideas to the Publication committee. We are always looking for new contributions and encourage new participations.
Down the road, we will be looking for volunteers to help us raise funds for our charitable causes. We also are almost always in need of donations and advertisement sponsors, so keep a look out for those. I am sure with everyone’s help we will have a very prosperous year.
